Swansea University Football Club (Welsh: Clwb Pêl-droed Prifysgol Abertawe) is a Welsh football club, who play in the Ardal Leagues South West, which is the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid. They play at Sketty Lane, Swansea.
History
The current team was reformed as Team Swansea in 2011 by students from Swansea University. Since the club's reformation, the club has achieved six promotions, two Gwalia cups, one Senior Cup and two West Wales Cups, including a 10-0 win in the 2015 final.
In 2017 the club sealed the Swansea Senior League championship and West Wales Cup double in May 2017, securing their return to the Welsh Football League in a play-off against Neath & District League champions Cwm Wanderers.
In May 2018 the club was promoted to Welsh Football League Division Two as Champions. They followed this up in April 2019 by gaining promotion to the new Cymru South as runners-up in Division Two. They were also awarded the divisional fair play award for the season.
In May 2020 they were crowned champions of Cymru South after the curtailment of the season as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, due to finishing 15th in the 2022-23 Cyrmu South, they were relegated into the Ardal Leagues, from 2023-24 onwards.

Swansea Univ ist einer der erfolgreichsten Vereine in Wales und hat in seiner Geschichte zahlreiche Titel gewonnen, darunter 15 Mal die walisische Meisterschaft und 10 Mal den walisischen Pokal. Der Klub hat sich zudem mehrfach für die europäischen Wettbewerbe qualifiziert und konnte dort einige Erfolge feiern. So erreichte Swansea Univ in der Saison 2011/12 das Finale des League Cup, das jedoch gegen Birmingham City verloren ging.
In den letzten Jahren hat Swansea Univ jedoch einige Rückschläge erlitten und musste in die Welsh Premier League absteigen. Der Klub versucht derzeit, wieder in die erste Liga aufzusteigen und an seine früheren Erfolge anzuknüpfen.
Swansea Univ ist ein Verein mit einer großen Tradition und einer leidenschaftlichen Fanbasis. Die Spiele des Klubs sind immer gut besucht und die Atmosphäre im Liberty Stadium ist einzigartig. Swansea Univ ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der walisischen Fußballkultur und der Verein wird von vielen Fans in ganz Wales unterstützt.
