Tanta Sports Club (Egyptian Arabic: نادى طنطا الرياضى) is an Egyptian football and sports club based in Tanta, Egypt. The club plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the top tier of the Egyptian football league system. The club was established on 5 June 1928 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Africa.

**Geschichte**

Der Verein wurde 1924 als **Tantana Club** gegründet. 1968/69 gewann Tantana Sport den ägyptischen Pokal, den größten Erfolg in der Vereinsgeschichte. In den 1980er Jahren spielte der Verein in der ägyptischen Premier League, stieg aber später in die zweite Liga ab.

In den letzten Jahren hat Tantana Sport sich wieder in der ägyptischen Premier League etabliert. Im Jahr 2017 wurde der Verein von Hazem Emam trainiert, der zuvor Trainer der ägyptischen Nationalmannschaft war.
