Das US-amerikanische Basketballteam "Kent State" ist eine NCAA Division I-College-Basketballmannschaft, die die Kent State University in der Mid-American Conference (MAC) vertritt. Die Golden Flashes spielen ihre Heimspiele in der Kent State University Field House in Kent, Ohio.
Das Team wurde 1928 gegründet und hat seitdem 21 MAC-Meisterschaften gewonnen, mehr als jede andere Schule in der Konferenz. Die Golden Flashes haben außerdem 13 NCAA-Turnierauftritte absolviert und waren 2002 Final Four-Teilnehmer.
