Chungbuk Cheongju FC (Korean: 충북 청주 FC), formerly Cheongju FC (청주 FC), is a South Korean football club based in the city of Cheongju that competes in the K League 2, the second tier of South Korean football. They play their home games at the Cheongju Sports Complex.
History
The club was founded in 2002 as Cheongju Solveig Football Club, and competed at amateur level.
In the 2009 season, the club joined the K3 League after changing its name to Cheongju Jikji FC. Before the 2019 season, the club merged with Cheongju City FC.
In 2022, Cheongju FC announced that they would join the professional K League 2 in the 2023 season, and also rebranded as Chungbuk Cheongju FC.

Chungbuk Cheongju FC ist ein südkoreanischer Fußballverein aus Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do. Aktuell spielt er in der K League 2, der zweithöchsten Liga des Landes.
Der Verein wurde im Jahr 1995 gegründet und trat zunächst in der dritthöchsten Liga an. 2000 gelang der Aufstieg in die K League 2, wo man sich bis 2006 halten konnte. Nach dem Abstieg in die K3 League gelang 2010 die sofortige Rückkehr in die K League 2.
Chungbuk Cheongju FC hat noch nie einen großen Titel gewonnen. Den größten Erfolg feierte der Verein 2002, als man das Finale des Korean FA Cups erreichte, dort aber Pohang Steelers mit 0:1 unterlag.
Die Heimspiele von Chungbuk Cheongju FC werden im Cheongju Sports Complex ausgetragen, der 20.000 Zuschauern Platz bietet.
Bekannte Spieler des Vereins sind unter anderem der ehemalige südkoreanische Nationalspieler Lee Chun-soo und der ehemalige japanische Nationalspieler Keiji Tamada.
